For any of the prices, and information on how to book any of these courses or lessons please visit the prices page. Taking any of these courses does not guarantee that you will pass, however, if you successfully complete all of the training targets it is highly probable that you will.

Weekly Lessons
Learning to drive with individual lessons can be spread over several weeks, and lessons can be booked individually when available. This is if you want a pay as you go type of learning, and to budget your learning for the weeks ahead. Or you can have a block booking of 10 hours, and to book a regular lesson time slot.

Test Booster Course
15 hours of driving lessons and the driving test booking fee.

For students who are nearing test ready and who just need a short amount of lessons prior to the test, I offer the Test Booster Course. It is also ideal for those who have had an attempt at the test and failed some time ago, but haven’t had any lessons since. The in-car training is 15 hours on a one to one basis. This includes a minimum of 2 hours for attending the driving test.

Midway Pass Course
20 hours of driving lessons and the driving test booking fee.

For students who have already learned the basic control skills of driving, I offer the Midway Pass Course. The in-car training provided is 20 hours on a one to one basis. This includes a minimum of 2 hours for attending the driving test.

Semi-intensive Pass Course
30 hours of driving lessons and the driving test booking fee.

The Semi-intensive Pass Course is the same course content as the One Week Pass Course as it is 30 hours. Except the training is spread over two or more weeks to suit you and your instructor’s schedule. This is the most successful form of intensive training. It is designed for people who want to pass the test quickly but at a more relaxed pace. The in-car training is 30 hours on a one to one basis. This includes a minimum of 2 hours to attend the test.

One Week Pass Course
30 hours of driving lessons and the driving test booking fee.

The One Week Pass Course usually starts on Monday and finishes on Friday. It is ideal for those who are in a hurry, who could not otherwise find the time. The driving test would usually be organised to take place at the end of the week or during the following week depending on your personal preference. If you want a test at the end of the course you would need to book the course and pass the theory test well in advance of the required start date. Sometimes a short notice driving test can be arranged, but the best option is to book the course and to plan ahead a bit. So then we can book the test, and then work backwards from this date to plan all of your learning close together and to then pass your test as quickly as possible. The in-car training provided is 30 hours on a one to one basis. This includes a minimum of 2 hours for attending the driving test.

How many hours will it take?
According to the latest Government survey people learning to drive in the UK buy on average 54 hours of professional driving lessons. This could easily cost you over a £3,000 to learn to drive and take up to a year to pass the practical driving test. With my driving tuition the average number of hours to pass the test is closer to 32 hours, which could be a potential saving of up to 20 hours. Saving you money. This is why it is so important to choose the right driving school and the right course for you.

Weekly lessons versus intensive courses?
Taking just one driving lesson per week will help to spread out the cost, but you will end up paying far more in the long run and take longer to pass your test. This is because the first part of the next lesson is often wasted getting to where you were at the end of your previous one. This is why intensive and semi-intensive courses are now proving far more popular. However, to do these courses successfully, the training needs to be carefully structured and expertly delivered so that no time in the car is wasted.
